What will you do?
As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving sales in the German-speaking market, with a strong focus on hitting KPIs and targets related to revenue, gift volume, and profit margins. Your role will include:
Collaborating with various teams at YourSurprise to ensure seamless delivery and top-quality service;
Building strong relationships with (existing) customers, encouraging (repeat) purchases and upselling our business offerings to enhance customer loyalty;
Taking charge of sales development in your market(s) – from the first contact to after-sales service, you’ll guide customers in bringing their personalised corporate gift projects to life;
Analysing and discussing monthly progress with the B2B team, with a keen focus on your sales funnel and commercial results;
Using off-peak periods to work on business improvement projects, marketing initiatives, or exploring new markets based on sales opportunities.
Where will you fit in?
You’ll be part of the B2B team within our E-Commerce department, working alongside 40 passionate marketers from over ten nationalities, each with their own area of expertise. The B2B team consists of eight dedicated colleagues who assist business customers via phone and email in Dutch, German, French, and English. We all communicate in English with each other within the team.
Who are you?
You have at least two years of sales experience and are available for a minimum of 32 hours per week;
You are fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
You have a hands-on mentality and a proven track record of achieving sales targets;
Negotiation comes naturally to you – you’re persuasive, confident, and quick on your feet;
You’re adaptable, work well under pressure, and thrive in a target-driven environment;
You have a creative mindset and can turn every customer interaction into an opportunity, always finding the perfect gift solution;
You’re a reliable team player who takes ownership of your responsibilities;
You are able to work from our Campus in Zierikzee.
