Lead Accountant

who Is ready to take the lead in managing our Accounting and Accounts Payable teams. We're looking for a driven professional who thrives on ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency—while inspiring and developing a high-performing team. As the Lead Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by:

Team Leadership:

· Manage and lead the Accounting and Accounts Payable team, ensuring smooth daily operations;

· Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to enhance their professional growth and development;

· Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Financial Operations:

· All accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance;

· Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports;

· Monitor and improve the accounts payable processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency.

Compliance and Reporting:

· Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards;

· Prepare and review accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations for internal and external stakeholders;

· Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors during external audits.

Collaboration:

· Work closely with the Lead Controller and other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analyses;

· Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and cost control.

Qualifications and experience:

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field;
At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role;
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (e.g. GAAP, IFRS);
Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
