We are now looking for a
Financial Administrative Assistant
to join our Finance team located in Terneuzen. This position will be full time.
What will you be doing?
As a Financial Administrative Assistant you will be providing administrative support to our Financial Controller in daily administrative tasks. You are responsible for accurately processing the financial administration in our accounting system. Your daily task will be processing the transactions such as (but not limited to) purchase orders, purchase invoices, bank mutations and sales invoices. In addition to these daily tasks, you will support the financial controller and operational team with the preparation of monthly and internal reports and other administrative task.
The administrative assistant will be expected to perform the following duties:
- Bookkeeping within the targeted deadlines.
- Follow up on open invoices
- Assist in handling monthly organizational of financial statements, and reports.
- Support financial and operational team in other administrative tasks (emails, phone call etc.)
Requirements – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Career Success
The ideal candidate would be a team player an organised and assertive person. Minimum secondary vocational education (MBO level 4) as office administration, or other relevant appropriate branch of study.
- 32-40 hours available
- Previous experience within a similar position would be an advantage
- We are open for your application if you just got your Diploma.
- Strong administrative and organisations skills
- Able to organize own tasks
- Eager to learn
- Good IT and Microsoft office knowledge
- Dutch native speaker
- Fluent in English (both verbally as well as in writing)
- Knowledge of Italian and/or Spanish language would be an advantage
- Enjoys working in an international environment

Als
Financieel Administratief Medewerker
ondersteun je onze Financial Controller bij dagelijkse administratieve taken. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het correct verwerken van de financiële administratie in ons boekhoudsysteem. Je dagelijkse taak is het verwerken van de transacties zoals (maar niet beperkt tot) inkooporders, inkoopfacturen, bankmutaties en verkoopfacturen. Naast deze dagelijkse taken ondersteun je de Financial Controller en het operationele team met het opstellen van de maand- en interne rapportages, lever je ad-hoc informatie aan het management en ben je beschikbaar voor andere administratieve taken. Deze functie is full time en beschikbaar voor 32-40 uur.
Van de Financieel Administratief Medewerker wordt verwacht dat je de volgende taken uitvoert:
- Boekhouding binnen de vooropgestelde deadlines.
- Opvolgen van openstaande facturen
- Assisteren bij het opstellen van de maand, kwartaal en jaarcijfers
- Ondersteuning van het financiële en operationele team bij andere administratieve taken (e-mails, telefoontjes enz.)
Vereisten - Kennis, vaardigheden en capaciteiten voor een loopbaansucces
De ideale kandidaat is een teamspeler, een georganiseerd en assertief persoon. Minimaal middelbaar beroepsonderwijs (bedrijfsadministratie MBO niveau 4) of een andere relevante studierichting.

- Sterke financiële, administratieve en organisatorische vaardigheden
- In staat om eigen taken te organiseren
