Junior Marine Superintendent

Junior Marine Superintendent is a part of the Operations Team. Together with the Marine Superintendent, you will give the proper support to the various vessels and projects.

As a Junior Marine Superintendent, you will travel a few times per year to the different vessels and projects for onsite support.

Duties & Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Under the guidance of the operations team, you will take part in:

• Assisting in all the vessels’ daily operations and client’s requirements;
• Assisting in inspections, repairs and maintenance of navigation, communication, fire and safety and helideck equipment;
• Participating in control of certification and verification, including liaison with classification societies and other authorities as required;
• Ensuring that procedures for inspections, repairs and maintenance are followed;
• Participating in maintenance and improvement of formal documentation in co-operation with Shipboard Management;
• Evaluating non-conformities and initiating necessary corrective actions and verification, assisting with incident investigations where necessary;
• Monitoring and following up rules, regulations and industry guidelines for marine and offshore operations;

• Assisting with system improvements;
• Liaising with the HSEQ Department to ensure safety of operations and personnel through compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.

Education/Experience/Requirements

• Minimum 2-year experience as 3^rd/2^nd Officer (OOW) or other relevant experience in shipping;
• Excellent skills in spoken and written English;
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and sound judgement.
