Heerema Fabrication Group (HFG) is an independent operating company within the Heerema Group and produces large and complex steel constructions for the offshore industry, such as jackets and templates for the larger offshore wind farms. For our Yard in Nieuwdorp we are looking for a

Finance Manager (1.0 fte)

The Finance Manager drives HFG's financial, IT and operational strategies through analysis and planning for both the Heerema Vlissingen and HFG Polska yards. As Finance Manager you are the sparring partner of the HFG Board and Management team. You manage the Finance team, currently consisting of 4 persons including Business Control, Financial Accounting and Accounts Payable and you manage the local IT team consisting of 2 persons. As Finance Manager, you are an important link within our organization and you work closely with various departments to ensure financial health and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct budgeting, forecasting and financial analyses to assess and plan company performance;
• Manage the Finance and IT teams and guide them in their daily tasks and professional development;
• Strong focus on cost control and identifying areas for cost reductions and implement cost-saving measures;
• Manage CAPEX, OPEX, tender and project budgets and cash flow across the company’s yards;
• Ensure timely, compliant delivery of all internal and external financial reports to support decision-making;
• Use financial and non-financial KPIs to evaluate operational performance and advise on improvements;
• Prepare business cases and recommend strategies to enhance financial performance and cost efficiency;
• Drive the implementation of the CSRD requirements in our reporting systems in cooperation with our sister company Heerema Marine Contractors and ensure reporting compliance;
• Define IT roadmap in consultation with the knowledge centers of the Heerema Group;
• Support the implementation of IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support the HFG infrastructure;
• Realize performance/improvements/change of operations, processes, policies and systems.

Education and skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field;
• At least 3 years of experience in a managerial financial position, preferably in a project oriented production environment;
• Problem-solving skills and a hands-on mentality in a dynamic production environment;
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making;
• Excellent planning and organizational skills;
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and develop a team;
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Results-oriented and able to perform under pressure.

You will work at the yard of Heerema Vlissingen in Nieuwdorp.
