Technical Officer

For our client, a leading ship global provider of ship management services, we are looking for enthusiastic motivated Technical Officers. The job will be performed from the location in Goes.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination and control of the full purchasing process of spares and stores; starting from receiving requests from the ships to satisfactory supply on board
• Including logistics, quality control, budget control and invoicing
• Control and arrangement of service companies and repair teams
• Close cooperation with Technical Superintendent (Vessel Manager), the crew on board and involved suppliers/service companies
• Monthly technical and financial reporting (OPEX)
• Additional interesting projects and challenges await you related to newbuildings, dry-dockings and take-overs of vessels.

You are:

• Knowledgeable in procurement and/or logistics
• Motivated team player with a passion for shipping
• Interested in working in a multi-national environment
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
