You will address plant issues impacting production, provide technical expertise on equipment and repair techniques to ensure facility availability and maintainability.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Grow as an expert in equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations.
  • Develop maintenance operating discipline.
  • Provide technical expertise on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating equipment design.
  • Ensure work requests include engineering input on repair details and provide technical support for critical equipment.
  • Document repairs, repair techniques, and equipment-specific training.
  • Provide maintainability input to projects.
  • Support preventive maintenance coordinator in reviewing spare parts list.
  • Enter quality, service, and equipment performance information into the reporting system.
  • Provide engineering input for work packages and turnaround work, especially for critical equipment.
  • Complete EH&S orientation and training, exhibit safe work behaviours, and fulfill EH&S requirements.
  • Use maintenance spending, reliability, and maintenance metrics for assigned areas.
  • Analyse equipment failures' impact on maintenance spending to identify improvement opportunities.

Initiate and implement reliability-related changes, understanding Long Term Cost of Ownership.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • A Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Industrial engineer.
  • Less than 3 years of professional working experience
  • Proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
