The Dow Chemical Company has an exciting opportunity for a Total Rewards Benefits Representative, within their HR Solutions (HRS) organization. The HRS organization is responsible for the design and delivery of innovative solutions to all employees and leaders. HRS roles will contain deep subject-matter expertise in order to consult on programs, processes and people. The top priority of HRS is to deliver the best Employee Experience through exceptional delivery of a portfolio of solutions. Dow’s HR Solutions has over 140 HRS colleagues in the region from more than 20 different nationalities. This team designs and brings innovative people solutions to all employees and leaders based in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India.

What’s your job about?
The HR Solutions Total Rewards Benefits Representative provides high quality consultation and business process support to employees and leaders regarding Total Reward programs/services in the EMEAI region and is empowered to resolve HR inquiries on these subjects. The Total Rewards Representative plays a key role enabling HR business processes and drives a best in class Employee Experience.
The candidate will act as Subject matter expert for Total Rewards inquiries with a main focus on Benefits in The Netherlands, and acts as the subject matter expert on end-to-end processes, anticipates patterns and links across HR disciplines, and looks beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications. The candidate will follow-up on monthly TR processes such as data providing to Payroll and TR vendors.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide consulting and support for all assigned inquiries regarding Benefit programs, with a main focus on The Netherlands.
  • Handling HR inquiries (via phone, digital communication case management systems), identifying and delivering solutions to employees and People leaders.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service to employees.
  • Assist in EMEAI Total rewards and cross discipline projects.
  • Engages in maintaining documentation of operating policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely payments to our TR vendors.
  • Perform activities according to the Dow internal framework including internal and external audits.
  • Continuously improves processes for efficiency and service.
  • Create and maintain (compliance of) documentation of work processes, guidelines, and procedures.

Education
  • A minimum of a Bachelor degree in a related field (HR, Finance, Economics)

Experience
  • Experience in the Total rewards field or HR or Finance administration is desirable.
  • Ability to effectively work through other people and be collaborative, cross-functional and diplomatic.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work with a sense of urgency in a highly dynamic environment.

Other Qualifications
  • Fluency in English and good verbal and reading skills in Dutch.
  • Knowledge of insured Benefits and Social security programs in The Netherlands
  • Experience with process automation tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate is an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel is required
  • Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, or other HRIT systems.
  • Strong analytical, innovative and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to work with complexity
  • Works independently, is self-motivated and accountable
  • Ability to work towards tight deadlines
  • Customer service mindset
